Alden & Hub got married.
No, these are not models from some Vanity Fair spread – this is Alden & Hub.
Yes, they are beautiful and also just lovely, lovely people.
We had the honor of designing the print materials for their wedding. We created a logo/monogram with their initials and two trees intertwined. We had them letterpressed by the amazing Judith of Full Circle Press and Alden and I assembled the invitations that were glued and then sewn on to chocolate brown cover stock that made a folder to hold the various pieces (RSVP, map, rehearsal dinner and brunch invites). We also created the table numbers, menus, signage and programs to create a cohesive look for the entire event.
Invitations and wedding invitations especially, are a joy to work on – an intensely, challenging joy. They are probably the longest lasting ephemera that we create. While corporate brochures and websites will be seen by more people – wedding invites are something that our clients will have forever. We take that responsibility very seriously. And enjoy every second of it.
