Michael Wainscott, MD Award
 

Jason Lesnick, MD, was awarded the Michael Wainscott, MD Award in Austin at the TCEP Connect meeting for his contributions to the EMRA Council, and the ACEP Task Force regarding Utilization of Emergency PAs/NPs. He is a resident at the McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Emergency Medicine.

What Organized Medicine Means to the Medical Student

TCEP Holds Legislative Day in Austin
 

 

Over 40 Emergency Physicians came to Austin on Monday March 25th for Legislative training and visits with Legislators. After hearing about the bills affecting the profession from Government Relations Chairman Dr. Theresa Tran, as well as TCEP lobbyists Michael Grimes and Price Ashley, attendees headed to the Capitol. Appointments with representatives and senators were set and members spent time discussing key issues with the legislators and staff.
