Wiegenstein Leadership Award
Sandra M. Schneider, MD, FACEP
Texas Member Sandra M. Schneider, MD, FACEP is the 2019 John G. Wiegenstein Leadership Award recipient. This award is for for outstanding contributions to the College. The award is named after John G. Wiegenstein, MD, a founding member and the first president of ACEP. Dr. Wiegenstein represents the epitome of leadership, both personal and professional. The award will be presented at ACEP Denver. The Wiegenstein Award is a plaque featuring an etched portrait of Dr. Schneider and her name will be inscribed on a master plaque at ACEP Headquarters.
