In Memoriam Juan Fitz, MD, FACEP
"Sherlock is my favorite character. I tell my students and residents that EM is the Sherlock Holmes of Medicine, we have to put everything together in a short time and observe everything."
- Dr. Juan Fitz, July 2020
TCEP lost a dedicated emergency physician in West Texas from complications of the COVID-19 infection on November 3rd, 2020, who undoubtedly saved and affected many lives. His many years of dedication to TCEP and ACEP will long be appreciated and remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and colleagues.
